‘Mealt Falls’ – Isle Of Skye, Scotland. Fine art print taken on black and white film.
The tripod was strapped to the cliff railings, and the camera bag hooked on underneath to act as a weight to keep the 1989 Bronica ETRSi medium format film camera steady for 2 minutes. As soon as I saw this waterfall pouring into the sea, I just knew this composition would look great as a long exposure. An opportunity to own a beautiful black and white photo taken on black and white film.
Mealt Falls is a
waterfall on the Isle of Skye in Scotland that cascades into the Sound of Raasay. It’s also known as Kilt Rock Waterfall because of the nearby
Kilt Rock, a 90-meter basalt cliff that resembles a pleated kilt.
